Cost vs. Value: The first thing that needs to be understood is that we are a coaching gym where members pay for quality training, attention, and results as opposed to an access gym where you only pay for equipment to be available like at a typical $9.99/month gym membership. And since everyone has a different starting point the first step would be an in-person consultation to discuss your goals and past experiences. This allows us to develop a plan specifically for you. Do you need personal training to begin your journey because you've never touched a barbell before? Do you have experience but need help with nutrition? We figure this out in the meeting and build your membership based on that plan. To give an idea, our memberships start at $111 a billing cycle and are adjusted from there based on your specific needs.
There are no long-term contracts. Memberships are automatically renewed every 4 weeks with only a 28 day notice for cancellations if you decide CrossFit Cervus isn't for you.
Some gyms just throw you into classes in a "sink or swim, we'll teach you as you go" environment. We feel this is highly irresponsible. So we developed our On-Ramp program, which is a series of personal training sessions where we teach you all of the movements you need to know, allowing you to practice them over and over under the watchful eye of a highly skilled trainer. Once you graduate On-Ramp (typically your first 2 weeks) you move on to group fitness classes completely prepared to get right into it. We discuss this process in further detail during our meeting.
You do not need to be in shape to start at Cervus. You move at your own pace and our coaches show you how to do it safely and effectively. What you want is the only thing that matters. If you want intense, you'll get intense. If not, then we'll teach you how to scale back and still get results.
During our initial meeting we discuss all of your previous injuries. Then during your On-Ramp experience we identify any poor movement patterns and teach you modifications for every exercise to keep you moving safely while still making progress.
We limit all of our classes to 12 people so that each member gets proper attention during the session. Reservations are managed through an app on your phone.
Yes, drop-ins are $20 (+ taxes). Submit your information in the form below and we'll contact you about the process to register for classes. If you sign up that day we will credit the drop-in fee on the first membership bill.
